Come and play

Come and play

25 Sundays in the season, from 9 am to 12 noon, in Evere. You need to bring nothing and know nothing.

Where

Belgium's first tamburello club

Tambourin Evere

Every Sunday session belongs to Tambourin Evere, the first tamburello club founded in Belgium. It was born in Evere, it trains in Evere, and the municipality of Evere provides the hall. Coming to play on a Sunday means joining this club.

How the first time works

  1. You come

Unannounced if you like, but a message the day before is welcome and lets us expect you.

  2. We lend you everything

A tamburello, balls. Come in sportswear, with clean indoor shoes.

  3. We explain

Five minutes are enough to understand. You will be playing within a quarter of an hour.

  4. You decide afterwards

The first session is free, wherever you live. Only then do we talk about signing up.

National team training

Tambourin Evere — Evere sports complex, L'Aubier hall · By selection

The players who represent Belgium in international competition train in the same slot, with Tambourin Evere. Coming to play on a Sunday means playing alongside them. One hour of the slot is set aside for their specific work.

How the three hours will be divided

The Sunday slot lasts three hours, from 9 am to noon. How it is divided will be settled by the turnout at the season's first sessions:

If the turnout is there

Three one-hour blocks, one per group: the youngest, adult beginners, and the national team. Each gets a full hall and its own level.

If there are fewer of us

Two blocks of an hour and a half: one for everyone, one for the national team's training.

Either way, the national team keeps at least one hour of specific work, and there is always room for someone discovering the game. The final timings will be announced here and by email as soon as they are settled — until then, come at 9 am.

How much

We wanted prices that exclude nobody. Across the 25 three-hour sessions of the season, the contribution works out at five euros a session — far below what most club sports cost.

À noter. These amounts are indicative: they will be put to the vote of the federation's general assembly before being applied.

Licence and insurance 55 € a year

A named player's licence and insurance cover for all the federation's activities, training and competition included.

Training fee 125 € for the school year

Access to the season's 25 sessions, Sundays from 9 am to noon. Equipment provided. 25 three-hour sessions across the season — €5 a session.

Total for one player, full season 180 € a year

What is free

Evere residents

Evere residents play free of charge for their first year at the sessions open to all. The municipality provides the hall to the federation; we give that access back to its residents. Proof of residence in Evere is requested on registration.

School sessions

The sessions run in schools are entirely free for the school and for the pupils: equipment, supervision and teaching manual are all provided by the federation.

First taster session

Wherever you live, the first session is free. Nobody signs up for a sport they have never tried.

Nobody is left outside over money

If you receive public welfare support, have a large family, or are in a difficult situation: write to us. We will find a solution — instalments, a reduction, or free of charge. The request stays between you and the president, with no humiliating paperwork to produce.

Most Belgian health insurance funds reimburse part of a sports subscription, particularly for children and young people. Ask us for a membership certificate: we issue one on request.

Register

Fill in this form: it arrives directly in the federation's mailbox. We reply with the next dates and what to do. No payment is asked for at this stage.
